Libya Debates Ways to Address Private Companies’ Problems

Tripoli_ The Minister of Economy and Trade discussed on Tuesday with businessmen and private companies affiliated with the Chambers of Commerce the obstacles facing the private sector and ways to address them.

The discussion focused on how to support regional chambers of commerce and reactivate their role in jump-start the economy and localize industries.

The top economy official stressed that these chambers should cooperate with foreign business partners in the field of small and medium projects, especially those that depend on local raw materials.

New regulations and standards are being worked out in order to restructure chambers of commerce in the country, according to the minister.
