Tripoli_ Libya’s Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah has decided Saturday to establish a committee to explore ways and means to lift subsidies on goods and materials that have for decades crippled the annual budgets and negatively affected efforts for development and rebuilding.
The committee will include the Minister of Economics as its chair and the Minister of Finance and the Minister of State for Economic Affairs as members.
One of its main tasks is to remove subsidies on fuel which are considered to be the highest in the world.
