Institute of Diplomatic Studies in Benghazi Honors New Graduates

Benghazi— In a graduation recognition ceremony organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Benghazi as part of a process to improve the qualifications of Libyan diplomats.

Speaking during the ceremony the Foreign Minister in eastern Libya Abdulhadi Elhawaij commended the graduates and the Institute of Diplomatic Studies’ staff for the efforts that result a group of diplomats who can contribute to the service of the country.

This class of diplomats has been named the “Omar Mukhtar Class” in commemoration of the symbolism of the Libyan national hero, echoing inspiration from the values ​​of struggle, steadfastness and loyalty to the homeland.

The minister reiterated that the next stage requires a modern national diplomacy, based on competence, integrity and genuine belonging to Libya and its national interests.
