Tripoli— The Libyan capital Tripoli will host the Libya-Africa International Gas Forum on December 6th and 7th in Tripoli, the National Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced on 3 September.
The forum will focus on securing financing for strategic oil and gas projects. It also aims to improve infrastructure to boost regional connectivity and operational flexibility.
It will explore ways and means of cooperation among oil and gas companies in the African continent, especially those related to increasing gas production capacity as well as accelerating exploration and basin development.
The NOC-sponsored forum in cooperation with the Libyan Ministry of Oil and in partnership with the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) will be covering the topic of securing financing for strategic oil and gas projects. It also aims to improve infrastructure to boost regional connectivity and operational flexibility.
“This prominent event serves as a high-level platform bringing together ministers, decision-makers, senior officials, experts, researchers in this field from both inside and outside Libya. The forum witnesses a participation of a select group of energy sector stakeholders from around the world,” said the release.
